My laburnum developed a split last year and the weight of the left limb has made the split worse.

It still flowers and I want to avoid felling it.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks
Jan

I'm not a gardening type person, so my opinion may well be useless?

Can you not tie it to one of the other branches to give it support? If not I am fairly sure that if you felled the damaged limb, it would survive, and with regrowth through time it would still look good?
