Up the Cobbler, but hopefuly a date that I can manage?? Not doing to good for events this year?

Jack and I have had it on our to-do list for ages. There are two caches - one on the route up and one at the top, I believe, plus a few others in the general vicinity. There's a nice lochside campsite at the bottom too.

If we organise it between us we can make sure that you are free to go!

I don't have the book - I'm sure Mr Marmal does.......??

I'm peeved - or you will be if you do Cairngorm and then Ben Macdui but you miss Sron An t'Aonaich on the way!
Where's the category for - "caches on hills but aren't on summits but are on the way to the top" category?

Hill - Tom an Uird Cairn GCZ5RT
Hill - Strathspey Views GC1116Q (well a hillock really - if there is such a category, but its quite pointy, has good views and its at the top !
Had the weather been better today I would have added another. Hope to post it soon.

Count us in for that too, if we were available on the day. We did that cache for our 100th, brilliant hill, but if you look at our photos, you'll see we missed the views at the top, so wouldn't mind doing it again. (Don't tell Miss cC I said that! Shocked )

It might actually be Big Wolf? Has it actually been over a year since the last SGDO?

Count us in for the Cobbler too! Have never done a Corbett before - but hoping to bag my first next Tuesday at "A Hill for All Seasons" (Ben Rinnes).

Yes - there is another cache on the way to the summit of The Cobbler, and two on the way to the top of Ben Vrachie. Could we assume that people would do their homework and check the availibility of caches on the way? It might be a good idea to suggest that owners to put links to the other caches on the cache pages.

A Graham to add to the list - GC11VRZ Top O' The Mornin' - actually it is waiting publication, but from previous experience it won't be long before it is active!

If you are looking for the logbook for the SGDO then I can confirm I have it here. Drop me an email if you want it brought to the CITO event as I should be there

The Cobbler trip yesterday has inspired me to add some more to this list especially the Corbett and Munroe sections - any suggestions?
