Mrs yob and I will be walking from Inverness to Ullapool in May.
Our plan so far is:
Day 1 Inverness to Conon Bridge
Day 2 Conon Bridge to Garve
Day 3 Garve to Inchbae Lodge
Day 4 Inchbae Lodge to Deanich Lodge
Day 5 Deanich Lodge to Croick
Day 6 Croick to Knockdamph
Day 7 Knockdamph to Ullapool
If anyone has knowledge of the areas, tips on routes to take or avoid, advice on camping (days 4, 5, & 6 will be wild camping - yikes! We've never done that before), then we'd be grateful for all advice. |

Day 1 Inverness to Conon Bridge = 13.3 miles
Day 2 Conon Bridge to Garve = 13.3 miles
Day 3 Garve to Inchbae Lodge = 7.53 miles (easy life)
Day 4 Inchbae Lodge to Deanich Lodge = 12.6 miles
Day 5 Deanich Lodge to Croick = 7.68 miles (almost a day off)
Day 6 Croick to Knockdamph = 12.8 miles
Day 7 Knockdamph to Ullapool = 11.4 miles
We'll be carrying full packs + tent and it's supposed to be a holiday so we've tried to keep the walking to sensible distances. Otherwise we'd do the lot in, ooh, 2 days |

As a holiday with full packs that sounds really enjoyable? I hope you have a great time. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you
