The former I haven't looked at. Guaranteed it'll be destined to guide your PC to the Gates' way of thinking and yet more promises that it'll be even more secure than #6 (which wasn't very...).

On the other hand, those Mozilla people have now released Firefox 2.
Downloadable here: FIREFOX2

It integrates with the original and copies over your add-ons - such as the Greasemonkey scripts for geocaching.
It now has an inline spolling correc er.. spelling correction facility. Embarassed

It has however removed my mail tab from the toolbar and I can't find it to put it back. I use this to retreive my mail from my non caching account.

In the interests of the Science, I downloaded Internut Exploder 7. Yawn... 20 mins of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...
Woo-hoo! Guess what? Tabbed browsing of web pages. Now I wonder where they got that idea from?
Looks like they're now playing keep-up now instead of leading.
It'll not be getting used much I suspect.

I still don't have my mail tab, but if I reloaded the earlier edition I get it back.

I'm not a huge Microsoft fan but I've downloaded Outlook Express 7 and I have to say I prefer it to Firefox 2. Don't ask me why, I can't work it out, but I just feel happier with it. Maybe it's a familiarity thing.

Ok...I'm a pedant. Outlook Express is a mail program. IE7/Firefox are web browsers. Confused

(I know what you mean...

But, you see, BG has penetrated into your mind and such stuff comes out! Wink

In that case, why don't you just make a new one for FF2 if you know the URL??

Strike me pink!!!!

Just upgraded to FF2. Took about 30 secs to download unzip and execute. And it's blisteringly fast in operation too! Some product!
