|
|
I have just got my computer back up and running. My problem now is that I have lost all of my bookmarks/favourites.
Can we start a Geocaching links page here please, mainly as I am desperate to get my bookmarks back up and running. I need everything to do with caching, including greasemonkey scripts.
Edit to add some links onto the front page of the thread -
Cachemate
Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK)
Greasemonkey script for thumbnail pictures on cache page. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

Greasemonkey itself is available here.
Some scripts are here and here and here.
You can replace the GC.com bland maps with OS maps by following this thread.
To hide posts in GC.com, follow this thread.
(Edited to provide newer uptodate link for OS map replacer 6/11/06)
(Also edited to add -- See Chizu post later for most up to date Edgemaster OS map substituter script (May 28 2007))
I also found this thread!!!!

Woh! The OS map one had passed me by! That complements the ol' Geoscout nicely!

I think the OS map replacer is the best script of all. The others are just fripperies.....
However, be aware that the red circle doesn't lie right over the cache site and can sometimes be a few hundred metres off. Memory-Map or similar is much more accurate. |

This has helped me a lot Thanks. Any chance the topic can be pinned, for future cachers to use the links? _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

I'd second getting this pinned, as I'm finding the Greasemonkey scripts invaluable. |

I'd also add Podcacher - for those of you who like podcasts and geocaching. Makes the bus trip to work more bearable sometimes! They've also said they'll give the Hogmanay event a mention |

I had also contacted Podcacher regarding the event and they emailled me with the same info. |

http://itsnotaboutthenumbers.com/ is a good stats program that is viewable from any computer once you've uploaded your PQ of finds. Also optionally viewable by other people. |

It must be broken... It didn't work for me - I just got a couple of lines of unintelligible errors. |

Worked as advertised...so far - waiting for the mail with the query.
Ok, take it back - it's burst! Also, what exactly is it meant to do? _________________ Anyone for a Hot Cross bun and a Creme Egg? |
