At the end of last week, the primary HDD in my PC developed that familiar and ominous death rattle, which signals the imminent end of life for a hard drive.
Thanks to Wuthered - who produced a large-capacity USB data storage unit, seemingly out of his back pocket - I was able to back up most of my data before the drive bit the dust, which (of course) it duly did.
My system is now up and running again, though in a rather patched-up state. Some incoming e-mails were lost, dated between the 20th and 26th April. If anyone has e-mailed me without reply, please re-send your message to Wildlifewriter. E-mails to GxAdmin are not being collected at present.
Normal service will be resumed one of these days.
With a bit of luck.

Has this affected your NTL webspace too?
The SMC Contour Manual is a DNF right now.....maybe you need to revisit the difficulty settings _________________ No one is listening until you fart! |

That's a different problem. (There'd be no fun in only having one disaster at a time.)
I hope to have the Contour manual, missing images and busted links fixed by the beginning of next week.
Assuming nothing else goes wrong.
Which it probably will...

Good stuff. A mate of mine has just bought a Legend and is keen to use the contour maps. I can't be arsed trying to tell him how to do it over the phone/email when he can do it via your website _________________ No one is listening until you fart! |
