Almost four months since its inception, GeoX has recruited its 50th member. We lost one, which is a shame, but the regularity that 20-25 members check out the forum on a daily basis (or more often!) attests to its popularity.
Well done Paul! A nice Chrissie present for you. _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

No, I wasn't counting that one. McKryton is no longer with us. _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

Has he, er, 'gone to the dark side'? using 'Imperial' sized cache containers?

Sorry, bad choice of words!! I'm sure that Mckryton is in the best of health, as I have been in recent communication with him! _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

It's very gratifying to know that the "experiment" has been worthwhile - though the news about Bill (and others, not mentioned here) does set the thing into perspective.
Thanks to everyone who joined and contributed to GeoX so far. And thanks also, to those who only read - at least another 70 or so on top of the listed membership, if my count of IP addresses is even roughly right.

And thank you for setting the experiment up, it has so far been a relaxing forum to be a member within. lets hope that it stays that way.
It really is a shame that Mckryton decided to leave, but each to their own I suppose. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

Wow! Are those regular visitors too? If so, it's done even better than I thought! _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

It's only an estimate, based on unique IP/DHCP addresses. Members apart, here are actually over a hundred of these - but that doesn't mean a hundred different visitors.
The statistical treatment of user activity on Internet sites is so boring that I can't bear to discuss it here.
