I think this was correct at the time (ie last July) but that the problem was fixed pretty quickly. There are new versions of both Firefox and Greasemonkey. |

At the advice of ghiribizzo I have now downloaded firefox, and I am using it as my browser. Hopefully this will put a stop to my AOL problems?
Anyway the text is just a wee bit too small and my eyes are getting strained looking at it. I have found how to change the text size, but it keeps reverting back to the smaller size. How can I change it, and keep it at the size I want? _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

In the menu bar, select Tools, then Options then Content tab.
Then where it says Fonts and Colours, click the Advanced button.
Select your required font type and size. Unclick the Allow pages to choose..... radio button.
This should then enable you to overide the page settings set by the website author. |

Thanks Nick,
I followed these instruction, but choosing the over ride button, made the page a lot smaller. So I chose the minimum font size instead and this has made it larger.
Surprisingly the actual font is a lot larger than what it was on AOL, I suspect that my eyes are trying to get used to viewing the web pages in a full open page, rather than a reduced page that AOL & IE tend to display them as? _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

Behold, as Haggis Hunter saw the webpage in all its glory. And it was good... _________________ Anyone for a Hot Cross bun and a Creme Egg? |

So when will we introduce HH to the scripts for firefox? I use quite a few. My favourite is the one that replaces the map on a cache page with an OS 1:50000 version. I also use the ignore script for the other forum.
Some here,

Oooh I like this, downloaded most of the scripts that make the page look a lot better. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you
