Carol-Alba has been ill for a while, the illness has been slowly deteriorating. This has meant she has found it hard to cope with Reviewing duties recently. As her health has deteriorated to a stage where she is struggling to cope with Daily/Family life. She has decided to step back from Reviewing and take a sabbatical whilst she gets a diagnosis and starts on the road to recovery.
So this means that as of now, I am taking over the Reviewing of North & South Scotland. And also the actioning of UC/NA logs for the 2 regions.
I would request that all email quires, are now directed to deceangi(@)gmail.com.
As Carol is not just a colleague, but is a special friend. I would hope everyone will join in with me in wishing her a Speedy recovery.

Thanks Dave. Very sorry to hear that Carol is unwell, every best wish to her for a speedy and full recovery.
And good luck to you; it will be a big extra burden. _________________ In the service of a Queen |

Having once swapped e-mails with Carol, I believe her to be a thoroughly dedicated individual - I'm sure this decision to take a break must can't have been the easiest. Kudos for taking over the reviewing responsibility. |

Some will not be aware, but between 2006-2008 when I conned Carol to come on-board. I used to cover Scotland. And I've covered for her when needed since. So it's like coming home to a warm house and putting on your comfy warm slippers.
I've always found the Scottish geocaching community to be a very warm, friendly and highly supportive one
Even for a misplaced Sassenach* like me
