I have a palm Z22, which I don't use a lot now due to having the Oregon 300. But I would like to take it with me during the mega week. It will allow me to write up my logs at night ready for copying over when I get back home to the computer.

So with that in mind, does anyone know where I can get a portable keyboard that will work with the Z22?

I have one which links to a Palm V (which dates it!) I don't know if the interface is the same for the Z22 but you are welcome to try it out.

Thank you.
My connections are USB and infra red. Is the Palm V a slot in connection?

Yes. It uses the slot in the base of the Palm V which is also what connects to the PC link cradle. The keyboard includes a small cradle to hold the handheld like a "monitor". I don't have it with me as I'm posting this but from memory I suspect it's a proprietary serial connection - so not much use to you: sorry.

That's OK Mike. Thank you very much for the offer.

Google shopping produces some results but i doubt you'll find anything in local shops these days.

I would expect that any IR keyboard should work. I doubt your PDA has a USB host which would rule out using that for an input device.

Thanks for that. I wasn't sure if the universal one would work or not. But I suppose you are right if it's got an infra red it should work.

Thanks for the feedback. I have now got a Belkin from the Bay which was even cheaper and it works a treat. Very Happy
