A question for the real oldies* out there.
Would I be correct in saying that You'll have had your tea? - Scotland's Cache Bash was the first Scottish event?
If not what was the first Scottish event?
*In this I meant those cachers who have been around in excess of 7 years. In no way what so ever was I implying that anyone is a bit past it. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

Yes, I believe that it was the first event - and the first one that I went to. Those were the days...only about a dozen active cachers in the whole of the country and about 10 caches in and around Edinburgh! _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

I believe it was the first too - and I was there! It was extremely exciting finding the few caches that were placed. (and indeed not finding one in particular!)
I also remember it as it was to become the first of a series of annual Scottish events and I was sandbagged into organising the second one the following year in Aviemore, where a grand total of six new caches were placed.
Happy Days! |

But it was a very fine event. And you can read about
"The 2nd Scottish Annual Cache Bash or Aviemore Adventures"
here by scrolling down to the end - it's the last report. _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

That's a long time ago.. I was still an apprentice back then (..just)
How many people attended the event??
That's not a bad idea to reveal the co-ordinates for grub only by locating the caches placed for the event |
