Jack and I can thoroughly recommend a trip on the Seabird Seafari, especially at the moment as a school of dolphin seems to have taken up residence in the waters off the Bass Rock in the last week. Dolphins have also been spotted by visitors to my cache, Berwick Breeze.

You can view details here.

And if you want to see some good photos look here.

Actually, this should probably be in either 'The Birds and the Bees' or 'Photography' - can admin change?

(Moved as requested - GxAdmin
- a first rate write-up and pix, by the way.)

We went on the trip in May for my birthday and saw the puffins... but dolphins too now I am jealous!
I agree it is a fantastic trip, well worth a visit.

Fantastic! Like Chizu, I went with friends in May and had read just at the weekend about the dolphins. Not sure whether it was the same company as the one we were on was like a huge wooden rowing boat, but the birds were amazing and we even had a peregrine falcon perched on the railing of the lighthouse. Anyone else find they received a bird deposit in the face as a present?!!

Shocked
