I ain't tryin' that again - it came very close to being an ignominious failure.

The owner of this listing had moved from Norn Iron to the USA long since, and I'd assumed that he was inactive in the hobby. So it was nice to get an e-mail from him this morning, thanking us for overhauling the cache. Smile

No I couldn't. Haggis Hunter did some emergency repairs on one of our caches a few weeks ago and myself and Dash were having that much fun jumping the burn when we went up to sort it all out permanentely, we walked right past the cache site. We did wonder when Mr Incredible stopped at a rock for a rest and we kept on going. Crying or Very sad

We have only placed 4 caches, so is a bit worrying, don't think I could find the others either without the GPS Embarassed

Out with Jack Aubrey today, we failed miserably to find John Muir, nearly two years after I first found it. I knew the rough location, but it was completely impossible to recognise the cache location amongst sandy dunes with long grass everywhere. Very annoying.

I don't think I could find John Muir without the co-ords, even then I reckon it would be a bit of a search?

We had the coords, and they took us to a likely looking place, but no joy. it was dead easy to find the first time. Strange.
