Just thought I'd post & let you know that some of the sea eagles released in fife last year have been seen (not by cachers but by bird watchers) near Flanders Moss GC1K7FM, and also at the Red Kite Feeding Centre at Doune GC1G0B1 & at Carsebreck near Blackford on the A9 GC1KTRE in fact Mr SD thought he saw one when he was hiding the cache!
I have also seen one near Rait GC16KDF which is between Perth & Dundee & the RSPB tell me that one is there frequently.
A lot of people have not seen the Red kites when doing the Red Kite Trail series of caches but if you go to GC1G0B1 between 1;30 & 2.30pm in winter & 2.30pm & 3.30pm in summer that is when they are fed and you will see them circling round at this time. The time changes when the clocks do because Red Kites can't tell the time & don't know that the clocks change! |

I was lucky enough to see a sea eagle a few years back whilst I was doing a tall ships cruise up the west coast. That's the only one of those I have seen - however, red kites?
They are very often seen up here on the Black Isle as you drive along the A9! |

They released Red Kites on the Black Isle about the same time they released the ones at Doune a number of years ago. It's amazing how many people round here think they have never seen one. |
