Don't want to cause any upset, but have been away for a bit and looking on mega scotland it seems as if there have been committee changes?
I can't find any further info on this other than the deleted thread, but if people are still being asked for donations it would be good to know what is going on?
Cheers. _________________ Ms Chizu |

You are correct there have been some changes within the Mega Scotland Committee we have brought forward a scheduled meeting which is on Tuesday 17th March to discuss various items and a formal communication will be released shortly after.
Many thanks for your concern and if I can ask you to please bear with us.
Regards,

It is with regret that I have to inform you that Haggis Hunter (Dave) has taken the decision to resign from the Mega Scotland Committee entirely. We would like to thank him for being the instigator of the organisation of the 2010 Mega Scotland event and for leading us this far, also for his ideas and experiences. Dave has confirmed that he will still support the committee and the event in any way he can. Again this is support is appreciated. We know that he will not become a stranger to the committee members and will no doubt meet him at events in the future.
Regards
Jeff

We have arranged a stall at the Weston Super Mare Mega event to publicise the Scottish Mega event and tourism in general in the Perth area. The event is on Sunday the 9th August at the Winter Gardens.
The stand will be run from around 10 to 5 (although these times are to be confirmed) so we are looking for some volunteers to help us ‘man’ the stall.
All we ask is that you give up some of your valuable caching time on the day (should be no more than an hour) so we always have two people on the stall. The stall will have various leaflets and other information on it and we will sell some coins. No doubt some questions will be asked from the cachers at the event about the Scottish Mega event so a crib sheet will be provided and there will always be a member of the organising team on the stall with you should any obscure question get asked.
If you are interested in helping us out either post here or PM me via my profile before 26th July so we can get a rota of some sort organised.
We look forward to seeing you all down there and even if you don't have the time to help out feel free to pop around and say hello!
The Mega Scotland Team |
