Just wondered if there was a problem with the site in that over the last few days some times it is taking an age to start, open posts etc whilst at other times is ok. I get the same level of response at home and and a work so don't think the issue as at my end.
Anyone else noticed the same? _________________ www.BigWolf.co.uk |

Yes I have noticed the same. In fact opening the post dialogue box to reply to this took ages, and according to my computer is still trying to open, even whilst typing this! _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

Couldn't get on it at all last night after being away for a week. Imagine how frustrating that was!! _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

It seems to be a problem with the hosts , easyphpbb. I run a forum using the same hosts and whenever Geox is running slow, so is my forum. |

That's my analysis as well.
The problem is definitely load-dependent. (It's worse at certain times of the day than others.)
I'll put in an e-mail to easyphpBB and see what response comes back.

Hi,
if the problems with easyphpbb are the norm (they certainly were when i used them). i'd be happy to lend a hand and setup a proper phpbb site (without ads, backed-up etc.) on a dedicated virtual box.
I also see that the domain geox.org.uk is free.
I run a number of sites so it would be no probs.

I've had a look on one of my hosting packages and i have space and a free database license to load up another dedicated PHPBB site, so it's no cost
if things get bad again, at least we have an alternative, if we want it.
