Just so there's a rough idea of who's all going.

can't make it unfortunately Crying or Very sad was really hoping to go but with the cost of fuel, and the fact that we will be driving to the north coast of Scotland in August (this will probably cost around £400 for diesel! round trip), sadly we simply cannot afford to spend so much money on diesel Crying or Very sad If I win the lottery in the mean time then I will see you there, otherwise I hope all you folks have a good time at the mega event, so sorry that we can't be there - still hoping to make it to a Burns night event in Jan 2009 though Wink

The dunk090 team will be there on the Sunday. We're combining it with a weekend in York by train, although the York-Harrogate service is a bit pish on Sundays so we'll only be at the Mega for a few hours Sad but long enough to pick up the coins Laughing

Jack, I and the Fan will be at all 3 events. No camping for us though. We have a cottage to stay in (another loan from a friend of Jack's Smile)

I'm heading down from Aberdeenshire with the 2 younger members of the team on the Friday morning, visiting my grandparents in the Borders then heading to stay at a Travel lodge in Newcastle that night. On the Saturday we are booked into the Cedar Court for the 2 nights. I'm then heading down to near Taunton for the rest of the week so Marnie can see her friend who moved down there last year.

[not bad considering the furthest i've ever driven before is the Borders...oh and my pair can start WW3 in the back of the car on a 10 mile journey. No wonder Mr G is staying here Confused ]

This should give anyone heading from Glasgow down to Harrogate a "caches along a route" route to enable them to run a pocket query (I hope)

Errm I should point out that the reason is work related and not a new residence!
