I have a virtual cache called Holyrood Horror?.

It requires the cacher to find out various numbers that make up the coordinates of a place associated with the Scottish Parliament. I had an email yesterday from a cacher who gave me an answer with at least 3 incorrect digits (I cant be sure as I am not at home to look up the correct answer) and the location given isn't even in Scotland. I sent a reply telling the cacher that there were errors, and today the cache has been logged as a find.

Advice??'

I should perhaps say that I emailed the cacher again asking if he/she is able to make any corrections and to give me an idea of what the answer is so that I can allow the log to stand.

The cacher is obviously on holiday in the UK, and as you know has been visiting a fair few caches in Edinburgh, they have also had a few DNF's.

Their log says 'Think I got the numbers right', that says to me, that they know there may be errors for whatever reason.
As they are from Sweden I wouldn't expect them to give you an idea of were the location is, (may not have the mapping that is required for this) but I would want them to give you the correct co-ords for there find to stand.

They may have actually visited the location and been driven insane by the awful vista spread before them. They were probably expecting to see a Parliament building and instead found what looks like a badly refurbished seventies council scheme.

Problem is sorted. When I returned from Australia and checked the answer that was given, only 8 of the 15 numbers in the coordinates were correct. I suggested that the log ought to be deleted until a (more) correct answer could be given, and the cacher has done so.
