|
|
One of my mates has just bought one of those tom tom go units and I announced that I could get a speed camera POI for it, now that I am back home I cannot for the life of me remember where on the web to find it. I also think I saw some where to download new voices for free. Can anyone point me in the right direction. _________________ www.naefearjustbeer.co.uk |

New voices I don't know about, but one of the best Safety Camera Databases is this one, which I use myself after conversion to Garmin format.
There's a nominal subscription charge but it's still probably worth it. Native TomTom file fomats are available so no foostering about is required for compatible units.

Thanks for that, I think that is the one I was thinking about. Did it used to be a free download? _________________ www.naefearjustbeer.co.uk |

Yes. IIRC, it went subscription at the beginning of this year.

Now I dont have tomtom but some of the poi downloads look handy. Is there an easy way to convert them to memory map format? _________________ www.naefearjustbeer.co.uk |

Both GPSU and GPSBabel will provide a compatible conversion path to MM.
