Forum members in Norn Iron should be aware that newly submitted cache listings may be subject to substantial and open-ended delays in approval, without notice.

This may affect caches which have been composed with "Ireland" given as the location country.

I am not in a position to give any supplementary information on this subject, other than the above.

Have Groundspeak recognised that the Republic of Ireland is a seperate country, and have now ballsed up the submission page for a cache?

As far as I understand it, this is not - in any sense - a technical or software issue.

I notice that a number of caches have been released in the last hour.

It would appear that the issue has been resolved - at least, in the case of these listings.

You're probably right.

I only found out about this because a new cache of mine - which I'd spent weeks preparing - sat in the approval queue for five days, with no reason given.

And this just because half-a-dozen young galoots can't keep their anti-British, anti-American, anti-everyone sentiments to themselves.

Ah well... Quia ventum serent et turbinem metent - I'm off to do some caching before yet another day gets wasted. Smile

The Intel Repentium chip seems to have kicked in.

I noticed... Sad ... GCRA82 - Slieve Foy

Annoyed at being unable to open the cache box, as I really really wanted to look at the log book...

I'll tell you the next time I see you. It'll be our little secret. (But you can tell the Skipper.) Smile

I am. But any cache that's been DNF by Wildlifewriter has to be attempted as many times as is necessary, until found. It's the Law, is that - it's in the Bible.*

Besides, when you've been dragged into dark tunnels by Billy Twigger... I mean, y'know - anything could have happened... Smile
