Seems a bit lame initially and I suspect the good lady may well not know about a cache in her home town's namesake, I dunno.
Then a thought occurred - maybe 'twinned caches' should be encouraged. To do with twin towns. You know, like Abernethy and Greasy Spoons. Sorry, Grisy Suisnes. One for McKrystmas...
Ok. I'll get my coat... |

I agreed to do one of these, and duly sent off the Scottish swaps for the one that was supposed to twin with 'A Split Personality'. Nothing ever came of it....think the chap got too busy or just forgot about it despite promises to set it up. _________________ Utterly smitten by a Captain

Unfortunately, no... The village hasn't to do with biscuits. Guess what the man's name was that came up with them. They're all to do with Ammonium Bicarbonate as the raising agent rather than good ol' Sodium Bicarb. - apparently the mixture prior to baking is really iffy fume-wise. Most commercial ones use a mix of both these to get the old bubbles in.
Fascinating stuff, huh? _________________ Anyone for a Hot Cross bun and a Creme Egg? |
