|
|
I'm sure I previously saw instructions on how to add the geocacheuk star rating on the cahce details page on geocaching.com and I thought at the time I would go back and set that up, sometime. Well today was to be that time, but I can't find the instructions anywhere, can anyone help me out? _________________ Carol

I put the following script into the short description -
<a href='http://stats.geocacheuk.com/mystats/rate.php?wp=GCxxxx'>G:UK cache rating<img src='http://stats.geocacheuk.com/pics/rating.php?size=tiny&wp=GCxxxx'
width="71" height="17" alt='G:UK cache rating' border="0"></a>
<a href="http://www.handicaching.com/show.php?waypoint=GCxxxx"
target="_blank"><img src="http://www.handicaching.com/images/linkbutton.gif" width="88"
height="32" border="0" alt="Geocache Handicaching Ratings">
</a>
and it gives this effect on the page. Remember to put the correct waypoint code into the 3 seperate places.
First part of the code gives you the G:UK rating and the second part of the code takes you to the Handicaching Link. Where you can rate your cache for the disabled. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

Have got the ratings part working brillantly, but now have another wee question.
How do you split the text up into paragraphs in the longer description, mine just all run together but in Haggis Hunters example above he has several paragraphs.
Thanks _________________ Carol

Glad your sorted Mrs I.
I'm having a problem increasing the size of my font on a cache page. I know about the [size=?][/size] code, but this isn't working, may be due to the fact I have the font bold and in colour.
Can anyone tell me what code to use on a cache page please. _________________ Let me know if I say anything that offends you

This should work for changing the text size:
<font size="5">text here</font>
The size can be a number between 1 and 7, or +1, -1 etc. |

No, it's due to the fact that THAT isn't HTML - it's the BBcode which works on forum boards (like this one.)
To set font size (and face and colour) use something along these lines..
Code: | <font color="#FF3333"><font face="Times New Roman, serif"><font size="5"><b>This an offset cache. The co-ordinates above are not the final location</b></font></font></font> |
Which gives the effect shown HERE
