I was talking to Donnacha this evening. There is a discussion on coins for Ireland going on HERE at the moment, and any contributions, observations, etc, would be useful and appreciated.
As with Scotland, the concern of course is that an "unauthorised" coin might end up with leprechauns, shillelaghs, Blarney Stones, or some other cultural abomination depicted on it.
Let's not let that happen...
