Hi all,

I just found a message left by a Swedish geocacher, as per below.

Quote:

Hi!

go to N 55° 54.428 W 003° 22.011
and retrive the coin, do what you think fit with the box.

Best regards
Orrbo

It's up the driveway to the Dalmahoy country club, if anyone is near? (I live in Aberdeen now!)

He posted it last night so I assume nobody has picked it up yet.

Cheers

Very decent of you ............. what is the coin?
Maybe someone can help move it along in accordance with it's aims or we can just give it some mileage to make up for lost time being stranded Smile

A message from the owner. I seem to be acting as the middle man in all of this Smile

Sad

Thanks for your help.

All he had to do was get a local cacher to look after it for him and all would have been fine.
Anyway its been retrieved now and going to be set on its journey once again.

If he hasn't read the guidelines about not being allowed holiday caches anywhere, not just Scotland. Then it makes you wonder if he has read the guidelines and asked permission to hide the cache within the grounds of a hotel.

I personally wouldn't take on the maintenance of a holiday cache when the person hasn't bothered to do their homework. If on the other hand someone got in touch before coming here and asked, I may take a different approach.

HH i wondered that too when i retrieved it. It was obvious he was going to need permission for it , i felt a bit weird going in for it where the cache was hidden and had a few funny looks from people going in/out there.

A wee bit research and questions asked to the right people would probably have saw it published..

Regards Kenny
