Unexpected holidays with the schools closed Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy - I have never had so much free time - but with no chance of getting the car out even if I was daft enough to try - any caches would have to be within walking distance - and I have got all those. I will soon be suffering from caching withdrawals!!!!
Maybe I should spend some time puzzling over the puzzle caches I have been putting off. Smile Smile

Apparently as of tomorrow the police will be stopping cars with snow on their roofs and issuing a fixed penalty £60 fine +3 penalty points.

No chance of getting to Fife today and everything is already cancelled for tomorrow. Have had fund watching people from our high up window trying to get cars and vans out of parking spots and spinning their wheels. Saw one van with about 2 foot of snow on its roof!

I believe they have already been doing it, I have been letting people know all week. I had heard that it was £160 + 3 points.

there was an soundbyte from a glaswegian copper on the radio the other morning saying this was all chinese whispers. They have advised that driving a vehicle in a dangerous condition would command 3 points and £60 fine, maybe more if it can't be rectified on the spot. But they are not specifically targeting everyone with an inch of snow on the roof.
