I know these will filter through to people in the weekly notifications, but to save you reading them all, there are a couple of events in the offing.

Nothing to do with us, but they both look like fun and we don't want anyone to miss out

1 - FFBs organised a dare devil event, take part if you're brave enough

2 - A camping event, 5 miles over the border by that shy lass from the North Very Happy

Better add the 2nd Mega Event on the 9th of August at Weston super Mare to the list.

Is it possible to have a Calendar section where events can be posted and maybe Admin can keep control of it by adding and removing as necessary, then everyone can see at a glance all the upcoming events with links (or am I asking too much?)

Regrettably, we don't have that software extension on here.

Of course, geocaching.com have one of their own, but it's a bit crowded... Confused

A similar event to last years Hunt & Munch is being held again after this years CITO event. As like last year it's first come first served.

The Haggis Hunt

You can do this with Google Docs spreadsheet, these can be set to Shared so anyone can access them. Just set it up so that their ordered by date and delete the event when it's happened.

Damn, working and wedding anniversary Sad I certainly won't be able to justify getting away that weekend as well, after just coming back from WSM.

Sorry Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Edit to add that I am not upset that it's my wedding anniversary, it's just another reason why I can't go.

This thread needs to be un-stickyed. It's a year out of date.

10 year event, Edinburgh 2nd May is also in the planning stage.
I think Scotland is large enough to get one or two more arranged, perhaps one or two on the West Coast?

So far depending on your location and availability some people should be able to bag two of the special icons.

Only the events that meet the rules will be allocated an icon.
