Hi Folks,

Our one and only cache (Woods of the Fairies, GC1DH0V) has been munched after less than 6 months Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Apparently there was no food in, so maybe it was a short sighted red squirrel thinking it was a large nut??

Any other suggestions? (it is over on the west coast near Strontian)

Maybe we need to invest in some metal boxes!!

Thanks to PaulandPaula for the photo

Could be any number of small rodents, although i like to think there's a new mutant that has developed a taste for tupperware - The GeoShrew

I've seen a couple of boxes in the same shape, but as to what has caused it, it's a mystery to me! Maybe W/W could hazard guess?

I lost a box to a similar fate, and also one of my handmade cammo bags... it must have looked like good nesting material then the GeoShrew got so carried away it starting tucking into the plastic Sad
