Not sure if anyone else has seen this:
http://www.midgeforecast.co.uk/2008/
Its a new midge forecast that will be updated daily.
Its intended for bluetongue surveillance, but I think its useful for west coast caching trips.

I've seen this before, but never found it useful.
It always says the my area is level 1 (negligible levels), try sitting on my patio one hour before sunset, and you'll soon find out how negligible the little blighters are _________________ I am just going outside, and may be some time!
