Do you use the phone for placing caches?
I use my N900 for placing them and came under fire loads as unaccurate.
Ive even had it side by side a Garmin Vista HCX and there was about 5 foot difference ...

Have you got an up to date firmware? I noticed the battery was not showing as full with new batteries and the firmware update fixed that. Never experienced your other issues with my 200.
